Everyone loves a recycler; however, totally new, durable cartons are best for shifting. This expenditure is worth the money to keep your goods in good condition. These can often be bought from a local moving or packing agency or bought on the internet.

Use packaging tape (not masking tape) for your cartons – you want them to remain closed! It’s also a secure fastener for things you’d like to keep together (like broom handles or curtain rod hardware).

Not everything gets packed: keep things of value, medicines and necessary documentation (birth certificates, marriage licenses, passports) with you.

Develop a system: Put a different shade marker in each and every room to utilize for labeling all cartons for that room. This makes a color coded system for your movers and keeps your shift organized.
